In an urgent notice issued by the Service de Sécurité Incendie de Montréal Montreal residents are being asked to keep their house and car windows closed and to avoid the area of Autoroute 40 and Boulevard de l'Acadie. This action has been precipitated by an accident involving a tanker truck loaded with 43,000 litres of diesel fuel. In the accident the tanker overturn and the cargo ignited. Five alarms have been rung-in for this incident |
