The BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund will be holding a fireworks safety demonstration at 10 AM on Tuesday October 12, 2004 at Vancouver's Fire Station No. 1. The fund is anxious to point out that adult supervision is a must at all fireworks activities. Homemade or illegal fireworks account for some 30 per cent of all fireworks injuries and all too frequently children in the 5 to 14 year age group are injured.
