On August 21, 2004 the Pompiers Auxilliaires de Montréal celebrated their 60th anniversary in fine style. A parade through the streets of southwestern Montreal followed by an exhibition offered the public a chance to see both new and antique fire apparatus.

The parade started at 10:00 AM from the corner of Newman and Irwin Streets in the LaSalle Borough of Montreal and proceeded along Newman to Jolicoeur then to Monk Blvd. to LaVerendrye Blvd. and finally to des Trinitaires to the entrance of Angrignon Park.
Once the parade entered the park it passed the reviewing stand and then the vehicles were parked for the exhibition.

The exhibition included all of the vehicles in the parade. Members of the public had the opportunity to see old and new fire apparatus close-up with demonstrations of the operation of aerial ladders and vehicle extrication.
Refreshments and a chicken lunch were also available during the exhibition.
